To access AnaEE-Belgium facilities, researchers start by shaping their project idea and exploring which facilities best fit their needs. After discussing research ideas and feasibility with the facility manager, the next step is to secure funding. This can be done in either of 3 ways: 

1. Through the researcher’s own budget; 
2. Through transnational access via ongoing projects the facility is a part of (AnaEE-Europe open calls);
3. Jointly applying for funding together with AnaEE-Belgium partners. 

Once funding is secured, researchers gain access to the facilities, carry out their work, collect/receive their data, and complete the project.
